We breed only AKC registered dogs, with the integrity of an AKC pedigree that you will not find with the miscellaneous "pet registries" We do not breed mixed breed puppies or "Designer Dogs".

WESKEAG BEAGLES is a very small hobby kennel located in Midcoast Maine. Our foundation bitch was purchased from Noomar Beagles and was the perfect choice for this beginner. Ch Noomar All That'n More at WSKG "Mora" finished her show chanpionship very handily while I was still getting my feet wet showing her and left me with my head spinning and a desire for another Beagle. Mora finished with 4 Major wins and a several Best of Variety over Specials.

Of course when Mora was bred for the first time I was looking for another show quality pup and that pup was selected from her first litter sired by Ch Maplewood Life of The Party. She was named Weskeag Dreams of Manderley and dubbed "Becca" from one of my favorite classic books "Rebecca".

Becca took many months to mature and after holding my breath and wondering if she would ever "get there" we began her show career together with a bit more experience and confidence on my part. Her first shows proved to me that she was not quite ready physically or emotionally. However she did pick up a couple of single points on Cape Cod while we were on vacation. Then another single point at the Thanksgiving Classic shows in 2007. On to Boston which was a disappointing trip overall, arriving back in Maine with no additional points and a dog that again was not sure of herself on the table. After taking the winter off and working on stacking on the table and a few handling classes, we were off to the first Spring shows in Springfield, Ma. Finally she has it all together physically and emotionally and we came home with 2 Major wins and 7 more Championship points. The rest of the story is yet to be written.

Here it is January of 2009 and Becca now has 13 points after taking Winner Bitch at Fitchburg shows on Jan. 9th. Now we are looking at Spring 2009 to finish this girl. Will this job ever be complete??

April 2009 Becca has 1 more point after going Winner's Bitch and BOV at the Vacationland Shows in Maine.

BECCA is now a Champion winning BOV over a Special for her final point on Aug. 28th!!!!

Mia is currently working her way towards her Championship with one 4 point Major awarded in May 2011 and a single point from November 2010 and more shows planned in the near future.

CHAMPION Noomar All That'n More "Mora" earned her first Rally Novice qualifying score[86] on September 20th, 2008, turning in a fine performance with the exception of the last DOWN...not her best exercise. Now we will go in search of more indoor shows in hopes that she will finish quickly. Maybe a Companion Dog title is in her future.

UPDATE: AT the Springfield shows in November, Mora finished her Rally Novice Title with scores of 93 and 94 out of 100.

AND

on June 19th, 2009 Mora passed her Canine Good Citiizen test so she can now add a CGC to the end of her name!!!

In July of 2010, Mora competed in her first APDT Rally trial, earning her Level 1 title with an award of excellence.
