WESKEAG KENNELS....Labrador Retrievers and Beagles... is a small kennel located in Mid Coast Maine. Our Black, Yellow
and Chocolate Labradors are bred for health, versatility and conformation. The first litter of Weskeag Labradors was born
in 1988 and all of our Labrador pups descend from that first litter by way of "Weskeag British Accent CDX". All of our girls
are OFA certified for hips and elbows and eyes are cleared for PRA and other inherited eye disease. All sires of litters also
have the same clearances. We breed for a temperament that is happy to live quietly with you in your home, but is ready to
go have fun when you are. We have also made an effort to keep our Labradors "Retrievers" by breeding to lines or Sires that
have proven ability to function as a retriever,

A recent and very important DNA test from Optigen helps Labrador Breeders breed healthier puppies. We now have the ability
to rid the breed of the most common type of PRA in Labradors through testing and selective breeding. Click here to read more!!
